Various First Nations sites provide guidance in implementing an inclusive classroom environment that respects the history and culture of First Nations. This topic will be discussed through the presentation of a variety of First Nations perspectives.
As oral traditions are an integral part of First Nations history, suggestions for the use of storytelling and legends in the classroom will be explored.
There is a wealth of Internet resources available. An exploration of Internet resources are meant to provide ideas and resources for an inclusive classroom that fosters First Nations content.
